COMPOSITION

Each mL contains:
Tylosin (as Tylosin tartrate) ………………… 200 mg
Excipients ………………………………………… q.s. to 1 mL

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASS

Macrolide antibiotic.

INDICATIONS

TYLOVET® 20 is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic indicated for the treatment of infections caused by tylosin-sensitive microorganisms, including:

• Respiratory tract infections

• Gastrointestinal infections

• Mastitis

• Metritis

• Arthritis

• Foot rot

• Mycoplasma infections

in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry, as recommended by a veterinarian.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For intramuscular injection only.

• Cattle, sheep, goats:
  1 mL per 20–25 kg body weight

• Pigs:
  1 mL per 20 kg body weight

Treatment may be repeated once daily for 3–5 consecutive days, or as directed by the veterinarian.

⚠️ Do not exceed 10 mL per injection site in large animals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Hypersensitivity to tylosin or other macrolide antibiotics

• Not recommended for horses

• Do not administer intravenously

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Occasionally, mild and transient reactions may occur at the injection site, including swelling or pain. Hypersensitivity reactions are rare.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

• Meat: 21 days

• Milk: 7 days

(Withdrawal periods may vary according to local regulations.)

PRECAUTIONS

• Shake well before use

• Use aseptic injection techniques

• Follow veterinary guidance regarding dosage and duration

• Prolonged use may lead to antimicrobial resistance

• Store below 25°C

• Protect from light

• Do not freeze

• Keep container tightly closed

• Keep out of reach of children
