Description

SulfaDimi Nor 100 WSP is a high-concentration, water-soluble sulfonamide antibiotic containing 100% sulfadimidine sodium, formulated for the treatment and control of a wide range of bacterial and protozoal infections in poultry and livestock.
It is rapidly absorbed when administered via drinking water and provides effective systemic antibacterial action.

Mode of Action

Sulfadimidine inhibits dihydropteroate synthase, blocking folic acid synthesis in susceptible microorganisms.
This leads to inhibition of bacterial growth and multiplication, making it effective against many Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and coccidial organisms.
