COMPOSITION

Each 1 ml contains:
Buserelin Acetate .......... 0.004 mg
(Equivalent to 4 mcg Buserelin)
Excipients .................... q.s. to 1 ml

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

NORURELIN® contains Buserelin acetate, a synthetic analogue of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH).

It stimulates the release of:

• Luteinizing Hormone (LH)

• Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

This action results in:

• Induction of ovulation

• Formation of corpus luteum

• Regulation of ovarian function

• Improved fertility performance

INDICATIONS

In Cattle:

• Induction of ovulation

• Treatment of follicular ovarian cysts

• Silent heat

• Delayed ovulation

• Use in synchronization programs (e.g., Ovsynch)

• Improvement of conception rates

In Mares:

• Induction of ovulation

• Fertility management programs

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Administer by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection.

Cattle:
2.5 ml per animal (10 mcg Buserelin)

Mares:
5 ml per animal (20 mcg Buserelin)

Use under veterinary supervision.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Meat: Zero days
Milk: Zero hours

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to GnRH or its analogues.

• Use only according to veterinary advice.
