Composition
Each 5 g intramammary injector contains:
Procaine penicillin G .............................. 100,000 IU
Streptomycin sulfate ................................. 100 mg
Neomycin sulfate .................................... 100 mg
Prednisolone ............................................. 10 mg
Sustained-release base ............................ q.s. to 5 g

Therapeutic Class
Broad-spectrum intramammary antibacterial
anti-inflammatory corticosteroid.
Indications
MASTINOR® LC is indicated for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cows caused by susceptible microorganisms, including:
Staphylococcus spp.
Streptococcus spp.
Escherichia coli
Mixed bacterial mastitis infections
Mastitis associated with udder inflammation and swelling
The formulation provides antibacterial action + rapid reduction of inflammation and pain.

Mechanism of Action
Penicillin G inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Streptomycin & Neomycin inhibit bacterial protein synthesis, providing extended Gram-negative and Gram-positive coverage.
Prednisolone reduces inflammation, edema, and pain in the udder tissue.
Sustained-release base ensures prolonged local activity.
Dosage & Administration
For intramammary administration only.
Lactating Cows
Infuse one syringe (5 g) into the affected quarter after milking
Once daily for 3 consecutive days
📌 Clean and disinfect the teat thoroughly before infusion.
📌 Massage the udder gently after administration.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics, aminoglycosides, or corticosteroids
Do not use in dry cows (use dry cow therapy products instead)
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated
Rare local irritation
Allergic reactions may occur in sensitive animals
Withdrawal Period
(Indicative – subject to local regulations)
Milk: 72 hours after last treatment
Meat: 7 days

Use only under veterinary supervision
Strictly observe withdrawal periods
Avoid contamination during administration
Not intended for systemic use
