Each ml contains:
Levamisole hydrochloride ........................ 30 mg
Oxyclozanide ............................................ 60 mg
Excipients .................................................. q.s. to 1 ml

Indications

LEVAZANOR® Oral Suspension is indicated for the treatment and control of mixed parasitic infections, including:

Gastrointestinal Nematodes

  • Haemonchus spp.

  • Ostertagia spp.

  • Trichostrongylus spp.

  • Cooperia spp.

  • Nematodirus spp.

Liver Flukes

  • Adult Fasciola hepatica

  • Adult Fasciola gigantica


Target Species

  • Cattle

  • Sheep

  • Goats

  • Camels


Mechanism of Action

  • Levamisole acts as a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist, causing paralysis and expulsion of gastrointestinal nematodes.

  • Oxyclozanide disrupts energy metabolism of liver flukes, leading to parasite death.

The combination provides dual action against roundworms and adult liver flukes.


Dosage & Administration

For oral administration only.

Cattle & Camels

  • 1 ml per 10 kg body weight
    Single oral dose

Sheep & Goats

  • 1 ml per 5 kg body weight
    Single oral dose

📌 Shake well before use.
📌 Administer using a calibrated drenching gun.


Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to levamisole or oxyclozanide

  • Do not use in severely debilitated animals

  • Do not exceed recommended dose


Side Effects

  • Generally well tolerated

  • Transient salivation or mild excitement (levamisole-related)

  • Rare gastrointestinal disturbances


Withdrawal Period

(Indicative – subject to local regulations)

  • Meat:
    Cattle: 14–21 days
    Sheep & goats: 10–14 days

  • Milk:
    3–5 days


Special Warnings

  • Accurate dosing is essential

  • Avoid under-dosing to prevent resistance

  • Follow strategic parasite control programs
