Composition
Each ml contains:
Ketoprofen ........................................ 100 mg
Excipients ........................................ q.s. to 1 ml

Therapeutic Class
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Indications
KETONOR 10 is indicated for the treatment of inflammation, pain, and fever associated with various conditions in animals, including:
Musculoskeletal disorders
Lameness
Mastitis (as supportive therapy)
Respiratory diseases (anti-inflammatory support)
Post-operative pain
Trauma and soft tissue injuries
Target Species
Cattle
Sheep
Goats
Camels
Horses
Mechanism of Action
Ketoprofen inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and resulting in anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects.
Dosage & Administration
Cattle, Sheep, Goats & Camels:
3 mg Ketoprofen/kg body weight
(Equivalent to 1 ml per 33 kg body weight)
Once daily for 1–3 days
Horses:
2.2 mg Ketoprofen/kg body weight
Once daily for up to 5 days
Route of Administration:
Intramuscular (IM)
Intravenous (IV) (slow injection)
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen or other NSAIDs
Gastrointestinal ulcers
Severe renal or hepatic impairment
Do not use in dehydrated animals
Side Effects
Mild local irritation at injection site
Gastrointestinal disturbances (rare)
Withdrawal Period (indicative – subject to local regulations)
Meat:
Cattle: 4–5 days
Sheep & Goats: 3–4 days
Milk:
According to local regulatory approval
