Indications

IVERONOR® 0.08 Oral Liquid is indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites caused by ivermectin-sensitive parasites, including:

• Gastrointestinal nematodes

• Lungworms

• Sucking lice

• Mange mites

• Warbles

• Strongyloides spp.

Effective against adult and larval stages of many parasites.

Target Species

• Cattle

• Sheep

• Goats

• Camels

• Horses (according to veterinary judgment)

Mechanism of Action

Ivermectin binds selectively to glutamate-gated chloride channels in nerve and muscle cells of parasites, causing paralysis and death of the parasites.

Dosage & Administration

For oral administration only.

Cattle, Sheep, Goats & Camels

• 0.2 mg ivermectin/kg body weight
  (Equivalent to 1 ml per 4 kg body weight)
  Administer as a single oral dose

📌 Shake well before use.
📌 Administer using a calibrated drenching gun.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to ivermectin

• Do not use in severely debilitated animals

• Do not use in animals intended for human consumption where prohibited by regulations

Side Effects

• Generally well tolerated

• Rare transient neurological signs at overdose

• Temporary salivation or ataxia (rare)

Withdrawal Period

(Indicative – subject to local regulations)

• Meat:
  Cattle & sheep: 14–21 days

• Milk:
  Not approved for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption

Special Warnings

• Avoid overdosing

• Follow strategic parasite control programs

• Resistance management is recommended

• Do not use in dogs of ivermectin-sensitive breeds
