Therapeutic Class
Macrocyclic lactone antiparasitic (Endectocide).
Indications
IVERNOR® 0.5 Pour-On is indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasitic infestations caused by ivermectin-sensitive parasites, including:
Ectoparasites
Sucking and biting lice
Mange mites
Ticks
Warbles (Hypoderma spp.)
Endoparasites
Gastrointestinal nematodes
Lungworms
Target Species
Cattle
Camels
Mechanism of Action
Ivermectin binds selectively to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in parasites, leading to paralysis and death of susceptible internal and external parasites.
Dosage & Administration
For topical pour-on application only.
Cattle & Camels
0.5 mg ivermectin/kg body weight
(Equivalent to 1 ml per 10 kg body weight)
📌 Apply evenly along the midline of the back, from withers to tail head.
📌 Use a calibrated pour-on applicator.
📌 Do not apply on wet or damaged skin.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ivermectin
Do not use in animals with known ivermectin sensitivity
Do not use in animals intended for human consumption unless approved by local regulations
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated
Rare transient skin irritation at application site
Withdrawal Period

Do not apply in rainy conditions
