Composition

Each ml contains:
Ivermectin ........................................ 5 mg
Excipients ........................................ q.s. to 1 ml

Pour-on topical solution for veterinary use.


Therapeutic Class

Macrocyclic lactone antiparasitic (Endectocide).


Indications

IVERNOR® 0.5 Pour-On is indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasitic infestations caused by ivermectin-sensitive parasites, including:

Ectoparasites

  • Sucking and biting lice

  • Mange mites

  • Ticks

  • Warbles (Hypoderma spp.)

Endoparasites

  • Gastrointestinal nematodes

  • Lungworms


Target Species

  • Cattle

  • Camels


Mechanism of Action

Ivermectin binds selectively to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in parasites, leading to paralysis and death of susceptible internal and external parasites.


Dosage & Administration

For topical pour-on application only.

Cattle & Camels

  • 0.5 mg ivermectin/kg body weight
    (Equivalent to 1 ml per 10 kg body weight)

📌 Apply evenly along the midline of the back, from withers to tail head.
📌 Use a calibrated pour-on applicator.
📌 Do not apply on wet or damaged skin.


Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to ivermectin

  • Do not use in animals with known ivermectin sensitivity

  • Do not use in animals intended for human consumption unless approved by local regulations


Side Effects

  • Generally well tolerated

  • Rare transient skin irritation at application site


Withdrawal Period

(Indicative – subject to local regulations)

  • Meat:
    Cattle & camels: 21–28 days

  • Milk:
    Not approved for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption


Special Warnings

  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes

  • Do not apply in rainy conditions

  • Do not overdose

  • Use protective gloves during application


Environmental Warning

Ivermectin is toxic to aquatic organisms.
Avoid contamination of water bodies.

  • Store below 25°C

  • Protect from light

  • Do not freeze

  • Keep out of reach of children


Shelf Life

  • 24 months from date of manufacture

  • Use within 6 months after first opening
