Each ml contains:
Ivermectin ..................................................... 10 mg
Clorsulon ....................................................... 100 mg
Excipients ..................................................... q.s. to 1 ml


PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASS

  • Ivermectin: Macrocyclic lactone antiparasitic

  • Clorsulon: Sulfonamide flukicide


INDICATIONS

IVERCLONOR® Injection is indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in cattle, including:

  • Liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica – adult and immature stages)

  • Gastrointestinal roundworms

  • Lungworms

  • Grubs (Hypoderma spp.)

  • Sucking and biting lice

  • Mange mites


MECHANISM OF ACTION

  • Ivermectin increases permeability of parasite cell membranes to chloride ions, leading to paralysis and death of nematodes and ectoparasites.

  • Clorsulon inhibits key glycolytic enzymes in liver flukes, disrupting energy metabolism and causing parasite death.


DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Route: Subcutaneous (SC)

  • Cattle:
    1 ml per 50 kg body weight

Administer as a single injection under the loose skin of the neck or shoulder.

  • Cattle


CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to ivermectin or clorsulon.

  • Not recommended for use in calves under the approved age.

  • Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.


WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS

  • Use strictly according to dosage instructions.

  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

  • Do not use in dairy cows producing milk for human consumption.


ADVERSE REACTIONS

  • Transient swelling at injection site

  • Rare hypersensitivity reactions


WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

  • Meat: 49 days

  • Milk: Not permitted for use in lactating dairy cows

(Withdrawal periods may vary according to local regulations)
