Indications

FLORNOR 20 is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by florfenicol-sensitive organisms in:

Poultry

• Respiratory infections

• Colibacillosis (E. coli)

• Chronic respiratory disease (CRD)

• Infectious coryza

• Salmonellosis

• Pasteurellosis

Calves & Young Ruminants

• Respiratory tract infections

• Enteric bacterial infections

Dosage & Administration

Administer orally via drinking water.

Poultry

• 20 mg florfenicol/kg body weight/day

• Equivalent to 0.1 ml FLORNOR 20 per kg body weight

• For 3–5 consecutive days

Calves / Lambs

• 20 mg florfenicol/kg body weight/day

• Equivalent to 0.1 ml per kg body weight

• For 3–5 days

Ensure medicated water is the only source of drinking water during treatment.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to florfenicol or any excipients

• Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption

Warnings & Precautions

• Do not exceed recommended dose

• Shake well before use

• Use freshly prepared medicated water every 24 hours

• Avoid prolonged use to reduce resistance development

Withdrawal Period

• Meat: 5–7 days (حسب التشريعات المحلية)

• Eggs: Not permitted for laying hens producing eggs for human consumption

Storage

• Store below 25°C

• Protect from light

• Keep out of reach of children

• 24 months from date of manufacture

• After first opening: use within 28 days
