Each gram contains:

• Erythromycin thiocyanate ........................ 200 mg

• Sulfadiazine
  (as sulfadiazine sodium) ............................. 150 mg

• Trimethoprim ........................................ 30 mg

Description

ErythroSulfaNor WSP is a broad-spectrum water-soluble antibiotic combination formulated for the treatment and control of respiratory, intestinal, and systemic bacterial infections in poultry and livestock.
The formulation combines a macrolide antibiotic (erythromycin) with potentiated sulfonamides (sulfadiazine + trimethoprim) to provide synergistic and highly effective antimicrobial activity.

Mode of Action

• Erythromycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, with strong activity against Mycoplasma and Gram-positive bacteria.

• Sulfadiazine inhibits folic acid synthesis in bacteria.

• Trimethoprim blocks dihydrofolate reductase, potentiating sulfonamide action and resulting in bactericidal synergy.

Dosage & Administration
