Macrocyclic lactone antiparasitic
(Endectocide).
Indications
EPRINOR® Pour-On is indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasitic infestations caused by eprinomectin-sensitive parasites, including:
Endoparasites
Gastrointestinal nematodes
Lungworms
Ectoparasites
Sucking lice
Mange mites
Horn flies
Warbles (Hypoderma spp.)
Target Species
Cattle (including lactating dairy cows)
Camels
⭐ Safe for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.
Mechanism of Action
Eprinomectin binds selectively to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in parasites, leading to paralysis and death of susceptible internal and external parasites.
Dosage & Administration
For topical pour-on application only.
Cattle & Camels
0.5 mg eprinomectin/kg body weight
(Equivalent to 1 ml per 10 kg body weight)
📌 Apply evenly along the midline of the back, from withers to tail head.
📌 Use a calibrated pour-on applicator.
📌 Apply only on dry, healthy skin.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to eprinomectin
Do not use in animals other than target species
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes

Generally well tolerated
Rare transient skin irritation at application site
