Description

DoxyColiNor WSP is a broad-spectrum water-soluble antibiotic combination formulated for the treatment and control of mixed bacterial infections affecting the respiratory and gastrointestinal systems in poultry and livestock.
The combination provides both systemic activity (Doxycycline) and local intestinal action (Colistin), ensuring comprehensive antimicrobial coverage.

Mode of Action

• Doxycycline: A tetracycline antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, effective against Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and Mycoplasma.

• Colistin: A polymyxin antibiotic that disrupts the cell membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, acting locally in the gastrointestinal tract, especially against E. coli.
