Each ml contains:
Colistin sulfate ................................. 2,400,000 IU
Excipients ............................................. q.s. to 1 ml

Oral liquid solution for veterinary use.
Therapeutic Class
Polymyxin antibiotic (Gram-negative antibacterial).
Indications
COLINOR® 2400 Oral Liquid is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by colistin-sensitive Gram-negative bacteria, including:
Colibacillosis (E. coli)
Salmonellosis
Enteritis
Bacterial diarrhea
Secondary intestinal infections
Target Species
Poultry (broilers & breeders)
Calves
Lambs & kids
Mechanism of Action
Colistin acts by disrupting the cell membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, leading to leakage of cellular contents and rapid bacterial death.
It is particularly effective against E. coli and other enteric pathogens.
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration via drinking water or direct oral dosing.
Poultry
75,000–150,000 IU/kg body weight/day
for 3–5 consecutive days
Calves, Sheep & Goats
100,000 IU/kg body weight/day
for 3–5 days
📌 Ensure medicated water is the only source of drinking water.
📌 Shake well before use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to colistin
Do not use in animals with severe renal impairment
Avoid prolonged or unnecessary use
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated
Rare digestive disturbances
Overdose may increase risk of nephrotoxicity
