Description

ColiNor Forte is a high-potency water-soluble antibiotic containing colistin sulfate, specifically formulated for the treatment of Gram-negative bacterial infections, particularly Escherichia coli.
Due to its poor systemic absorption, colistin acts locally in the gastrointestinal tract, making it highly effective for enteric infections.

Mode of Action

Colistin disrupts the bacterial cell membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, leading to leakage of intracellular components and rapid bacterial death.

• Colibacillosis (E. coli)

• Bacterial enteritis

• Diarrhea associated with Gram-negative infections

• Dysbacteriosis

• Secondary bacterial infections of the intestinal tract
