Cardionor
Cardionor Injection
Description
Cardionor Injection is a cardiovascular support injectable preparation containing Heptaminol acefilinate (62:38). It is indicated in veterinary practice to improve cardiac performance, support circulation, and manage conditions associated with hypotension, fatigue, and reduced physical performance, particularly in performance and working animals, under veterinary supervision.
Active Substance
Each ml contains:
Heptaminol acefilinate (62:38) ............ 100 mg
Pharmacological Class
Cardiotonic and circulatory stimulant.
Indications
Cardionor Injection is indicated for:
Cardiovascular insufficiency
Hypotension and circulatory weakness
Fatigue and reduced physical performance
Supportive therapy during stress, transport, or convalescence
Improvement of cardiac output and peripheral circulation
Mechanism of Action
Heptaminol acefilinate enhances myocardial contractility and improves venous return, leading to increased cardiac output and better tissue perfusion. It supports cardiovascular function without significantly increasing myocardial oxygen demand, making it suitable for use in stressed or performance animals.
Dosage and Administration
Dosage and frequency of administration must be determined only by a licensed veterinarian, based on animal species, body weight, and clinical condition.
Administer by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection as directed by the veterinarian.
