Description

AVINOR ND-LS is an inactivated oil-emulsion vaccine containing Newcastle Disease virus La Sota strain.

The vaccine is formulated to induce strong and long-lasting immunity against Newcastle Disease (ND) and is suitable for use in broilers, layers, and breeder chickens, including pre-lay vaccination programs.


Indication

AVINOR ND-LS is indicated for the active immunization of chickens to prevent:

  • Newcastle Disease (ND)

    • Breeders


Administration and Dosage

Administer by subcutaneous injection in the neck.

Dosage

  • Chicks under 14 days of age:
    0.2 ml per bird

  • Chickens over 60 days of age:
    0.5 ml per bird

  • Breeders or layers:
    Vaccinate 14–21 days before onset of laying
    0.5 ml per bird


Vaccination Program

  • Single vaccination according to age and production stage

  • Booster vaccination may be applied based on field challenge and veterinary recommendation


Method of Use

  1. Allow the vaccine to reach room temperature before use

  2. Shake well before and during use to ensure uniform emulsion

  3. Use sterile syringes and needles

  4. Do not mix with other vaccines or medicinal products


Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate sick, stressed, or immunocompromised birds

  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine


Warnings and Precautions

  • For veterinary use only

  • Vaccinate healthy birds only

  • Avoid freezing

  • Maintain strict biosecurity during vaccination

  • Dispose of empty containers according to local regulations


Adverse Reactions

  • Mild and transient swelling at the injection site may occur

  • Reactions usually resolve spontaneously
