Description

AVINOR BI-NH9 is a binary inactivated oil-emulsion vaccine containing:

  • Inactivated recombinant Newcastle Disease Virus
    (Genotype VII – A-VII strain)

  • Inactivated Avian Influenza Virus
    (H9 subtype – WJ57 strain)

The vaccine is formulated to provide effective protection against two of the most economically important viral diseases affecting chickens.


Indication

AVINOR BI-NH9 is indicated for the active immunization of chickens to prevent:

  • Newcastle Disease (ND)

  • H9 subtype Avian Influenza


Target Species

  • Chickens (broilers, layers, breeders)


Administration and Dosage

Administer by subcutaneous injection in the neck or intramuscular injection.

Dosage

  • Chicks within 3 weeks of age:
    0.2 ml per bird

  • Chickens over 3 weeks of age:
    0.5 ml per bird


Vaccination Program

  • Single vaccination according to age

  • Booster vaccination may be applied based on field challenge and veterinary recommendation


Method of Use

  1. Allow the vaccine to reach room temperature before use

  2. Shake well to ensure a uniform emulsion

  3. Use sterile syringes and needles

  4. Do not mix with other vaccines or medicinal products


Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate sick, stressed, or immunocompromised birds

  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine


Warnings and Precautions

  • For veterinary use only

  • Vaccinate healthy birds only

  • Avoid freezing

  • Maintain strict biosecurity during vaccination

  • Dispose of empty containers according to local regulations


Adverse Reactions

  • Mild and transient swelling at the injection site may occur

  • Reactions usually resolve spontaneously
