Description

AVINOR BI-ND/IBD is a binary inactivated vaccine containing:

  • Inactivated recombinant Newcastle Disease Virus
    (Genotype VII – A-VII strain)

  • Infectious Bursal Disease Virus VP2 protein
    (Subunit antigen)

This advanced formulation provides dual protection against Newcastle Disease and Infectious Bursal Disease, while:

  • Reducing immunosuppression associated with live IBD vaccines

  • Improving overall flock immune performance

  • Enhancing response to other vaccines in the program


Indication

AVINOR BI-ND/IBD is indicated for the active immunization of chickens to prevent:

  • Newcastle Disease (ND)

  • Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD / Gumboro)


Target Species

  • Chickens

    • Broilers

    • Layers

    • Breeders


Administration and Dosage

Administer by subcutaneous injection in the neck or intramuscular injection.

Dosage

  • Chicks 7–21 days of age:
    0.25 ml per bird

  • Chickens over 21 days of age:
    0.5 ml per bird


Vaccination Program

  • Single vaccination according to age

  • Can be integrated into early vaccination programs to replace or reduce live IBD vaccine use

  • Booster vaccination according to field challenge and veterinary recommendation


Method of Use

  1. Allow vaccine to reach room temperature before use

  2. Shake well before and during use

  3. Use sterile syringes and needles

  4. Do not mix with other vaccines or medicinal products


Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate sick, stressed, or immunocompromised birds

  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine


Warnings and Precautions

  • For veterinary use only

  • Vaccinate healthy birds only

  • Avoid freezing

  • Maintain strict biosecurity during vaccination

  • Dispose of empty containers according to regulations


Adverse Reactions

  • Mild and transient swelling at injection site may occur

  • Reactions usually resolve spontaneously

  • Store at 2–8°C

  • Do not freeze

  • Protect from light
