Broad-spectrum anthelmintic (Benzimidazole group).
Indications
ALBENOR® 2.5 Oral Liquid is indicated for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal and pulmonary parasitic infestations caused by albendazole-sensitive parasites, including:
Roundworms (Nematodes)
Lungworms
Tapeworms (Cestodes)
Adult liver flukes (dose-dependent)
Target Species
Sheep
Goats
Calves
Camels (according to veterinary judgment)
Mechanism of Action
Albendazole interferes with parasite energy metabolism by inhibiting tubulin polymerization, leading to impaired glucose uptake and eventual parasite death.
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration only.
General dosage
7.5 mg albendazole/kg body weight
(Equivalent to 1 ml per 3.3 kg body weight)
📌 Dosage may vary depending on parasite species and veterinary recommendation.
📌 Shake well before use.
Contraindications
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to benzimidazoles
Do not use during the first trimester of pregnancy
Not recommended for severely debilitated animals
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated
Rare gastrointestinal disturbances may occur
