Indications

ALBENOR 2500 Bolus is indicated for the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal and respiratory parasites in:

Cattle & Buffaloes

  • Gastro-intestinal roundworms

  • Lungworms

  • Tapeworms

  • Adult liver flukes (Fasciola spp. – dose dependent)

Sheep & Goats

  • Roundworms

  • Lungworms

  • Tapeworms

  • Adult liver flukes


Dosage & Administration

Administer orally using a bolus gun.

Cattle

  • 7.5 mg albendazole/kg body weight

  • Equivalent to 1 bolus per ~330 kg body weight

Sheep & Goats

  • 5–7.5 mg albendazole/kg body weight

  • According to veterinary advice

Accurate body weight estimation is essential for correct dosing.


Contraindications

  • Do not use during the first trimester of pregnancy

  • Hypersensitivity to benzimidazoles


Warnings & Precautions

  • For veterinary use only

  • Do not exceed recommended dose

  • Use appropriate bolus applicator

  • Observe withdrawal periods carefully


Withdrawal Period

  • Meat: 10–14 days (subject to local regulations)

  • Milk: 3–5 days (subject to local regulations)


Storage

  • Store below 25°C

  • Protect from moisture

  • Keep out of reach of children
